Welcome to LiveImpact.io! By using our platform, you agree to the following terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the platform. Founding Members also agree to additional commitments, outlined in Section 4B.

1. What We Do
LiveImpact.io helps people track and amplify real-world actions that support causes they care about. It’s cause-neutral, ad-free, and people-powered. By using the platform, you consent to the collection of data and use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in certain countries) to use the platform. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

• You agree to provide accurate information and not create accounts on behalf of others without permission.

• Founding Members: Must be at least 18 years old. One Founder = one account. Each individual supporting causes needs their own account. No family, household, or group accounts.

2A. Age Restrictions

LiveImpact.io is not directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you are under 13 (or under 16 in countries where parental consent is required), you may not create an account or use the platform. If we become aware that a user under the minimum age has registered, we will delete their account and associated data. Users between 13 and 17 years old may use the platform only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use LiveImpact.io, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf and is responsible for the minor’s use of the platform.

2B. Electronic Communications and Community Updates
By creating an account, you agree that LiveImpact.io may send occasional emails related to your use of the platform. These include community updates, important notices, feature announcements, reminders, or information intended to help you stay engaged with causes and commitments. These communications are considered part of the service.
You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link included in each message. Unsubscribing will not affect transactional or required communications such as security notices or account-related messages.

3. Access & Beta Use
As an early user, you’re getting access to a beta version of the platform. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time. The platform is provided “as is,” and we may discontinue it at any time without liability.

• Founding Members: Lifetime access means for as long as LiveImpact.io exists. If the platform shuts down, all accounts end together.

4. Your Responsibilities

A. General User Responsibilities
You agree to:

• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully

• Only post content (including cause or action nominations) you have the right to share

• Avoid spam, harassment, or disruptive behavior
  You are responsible for the content you submit and any consequences that result from it.

B. Additional Founder Commitments
By becoming a Founder, you agree to:

• Show Up: Use the platform periodically to pledge actions, explore causes, and keep momentum alive.

• Help Us Kick the Tires: Provide feedback, ideas, and suggestions. By sharing feedback, you grant us permission to use it freely to improve LiveImpact.io without compensation.

• Respect the Mix: Support and respect diverse causes and perspectives. Inclusion doesn’t mean endorsement by LiveImpact.io.

• Nominate with Care: Suggest new causes and actions thoughtfully and clearly. Nonsense nominations may be excluded.

• Stay Human: No bots, scripts, or AI clones. Founders must be real people.

• Spread the Word (a Little): Occasionally share the Join the Waitlist link with people who’d genuinely be interested.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

• All original content on LiveImpact.io belongs to us unless otherwise stated. You may not use our name, logo, or content without prior written permission.

• When you submit content (such as nominations or actions), you retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and share it as needed to operate and promote the platform.

• Founder feedback and submissions may also be displayed (sometimes anonymously, sometimes in aggregate) to show collective impact.

6. Payments & Membership

Some features may require a one-time membership fee (for example, $10 lifetime access). Payments will be handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe or PayPal), and you agree to their terms.

All payments to LiveImpact.io are one-time and non-refundable, except where refunds are required by applicable law. A $10 payment provides lifetime access to the platform for as long as LiveImpact.io exists. Contributions above $10 help unlock access for others through our pay-it-forward model. Payments to LiveImpact.io are not tax-deductible.

Founding Members receive free lifetime access.

7. Platform Rights
We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms or harm the community. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for inactivity or misuse. Dead or inactive accounts may be retired.

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or interruption while using the platform.

8. Third-Party Services
The platform may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, or analytics. We are not responsible for their actions, terms, or policies.

9. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, LiveImpact.io and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us (up to $10).

11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless against any claims resulting from your use of the platform or content you submit.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in small claims court in Michigan. You waive the right to participate in class actions against us.

13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. If changes are material, we’ll let you know. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

14. Termination & Opting Out

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting rick@liveimpact.io or using the in-platform tools.

• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or have been inactive for an extended period.
