Important tax note
LiveImpact.io is a mission-driven, for-purpose business, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Per our Operating Agreement dated April 3, 2025:
The Company’s mission is to advance public education and engagement around charitable, civic, and community improvement efforts. Through a publicly accessible digital platform, LiveImpact.io informs individuals about causes of public concern, encourages and tracks personal commitments to volunteering, donating, advocacy, and other civic activities, and aggregates these commitments to demonstrate collective community impact.
Contributions here are not tax deductible as charitable donations. The IRS allows deductions only for gifts to qualified charities (IRS rules).

How payment works
We process contributions via PayPal. Standard business processing rates apply to non-charitable accounts (currently 2.89% + $0.49 per transaction). Charitable discounts apply only to confirmed 501(c)(3) accounts. For more info see PayPal’s donation pricing.
