A new civic engagement platform developed in Holland is inviting West Michigan residents to serve as testers.
LiveImpact.io has entered a soft-launch phase, offering full access for life at no cost, according to a community announcement.
The platform allows users to log actions they take for causes they care about, ranging from nonprofit initiatives to personal efforts like sustainability and community wellbeing. All actions are recorded anonymously and displayed on a public dashboard that shows growing collective momentum.
“People in our community show up every day in ways that matter, but most of those actions disappear,” wrote Rick Zwetsch, founder of LiveImpact.io. “LiveImpact.io makes that support visible, so we can finally see what a community looks like when its actions are counted.”
The platform is designed to be user-friendly, enabling testers to search and follow causes, commit to actions and log them in less than 20 seconds. Users can watch the collective results build on the public dashboard at app.liveimpact.io.
The platform is ad-free and algorithm-free, according to the release.
Residents can join the soft launch at app.liveimpact.io and begin logging actions immediately. Those with questions can contact Zwetsch at rick@liveimpact.io.
